play is a practice of discovery
We spend our lives learning the rules of the games around us… how to succeed, communicate, perform, belong, or create.
Somewhere along the way, many of us stop questioning life’s rules and begin playing in familiar patterns.
P.L.A.Y. Word Play is designed to shake up those rules and ordinary ways of expression.
These games aren't about winning or finding the "right" answer. They are designed to reveal unexpected connections, expand your creative range, and uncover ideas, perspectives, and parts of yourself that ordinary conversation often can't reach.
Whether you're developing a new body of work, searching for clearer language, navigating a creative transition, or reconnecting with a deeper sense of purpose, Play Word Play invites you to experiment, reflect, and look at yourself from a different perspective.
Word Play creates a supportive container for intentional play in the creative process
Life is a game, how are you playing?

TEO OTTO
Teo Otto (they/them) is the proud creator of WORD PLAY — a series of games that allow for experimental exploration into language and thinking patterns.
These original methods are derived from Teo’s own self-exploration journey, but also use supportive techniques from somatic + theatrical disciplines.
In a serious world, the importance of PLAY is needed now more than ever! When we PLAY, we set aside time to connect with ourselves and imagination, often coming to new or unexpected results. PLAY reminds us that we are ALIVE human beings — how are we playing the biggest game… LIFE!
